Framed Mancala

A beautiful mancala board from the Oromo people of Ethiopia which has been framed. The word mancala refers to a family of games, played on boards like these which have worn depressions which hold game pieces such as seeds, stones or beads. The object of the game is to capture more pieces than the opponent or to have one side empty first in order to win.
