A forever favourite, the Ethiopian stool is classic and effortlessly stylish with its simple but elegant design. The stool was hand-carved from indigenous wood with curved legs and a concave top.

Ethiopian stools are increasingly hard to come across. Deforestation of local woodlands and subsequent protective laws over trees in Ethiopia have made their production grind to a halt, so any stools available are increasingly of a vintage nature.  

This is an old stool and the wood has beautiful weathering, patina and imperfections from years of use.
